Check-In 60 minutes before the departure of your 2 hour flight from Reykjavík domestic airport to Kulusuk. Upon arrival you‘ll be met by a local guide and after a short introduction you head to the boat.

In Greenland the ocean is always close by. It surrounds the small islands as well as the settlement and is a source of food. In summer, when the water is not frozen, the water around Kulusuk is dotted with icebergs of all shapes and sizes and the only way to get around is by boat.

On this day tour we start with a 45 minute long boat tour, sailing between the icebergs over to the mountainous Apusiaajik Island to see where a glacier comes flowing from the island into the sea.

Afterwards we head back to Kulusuk village for a short visit. The village is characterised by red, yellow and green houses. There we experience a demonstration of a local drum dance (weather permitting).

No one can control the weather, but if you are properly prepared, you will find that the weather's changeableness can be quite charming when visiting Greenland.

We recommend that all travelers wear good walking boots (this tour requires around 3 km/1.86 miles walk)
